Can't Wait for Sunday

What I thought was going to one of my busiest Sundays to date, preaching the same message three times at our three meetings, just got a bit busier when Radio Berkshire asked if I could go and do an interview at 8am on Sunday morning. They're doing a programme about the decline in church attendance, and after getting our press release about our extra meeting wanted someone to talk about what we're up to. The team here felt it was right for me to go, so I'm going!

If you read this before Sunday morning please pray that I'll paint a positive message of what God is doing in the church in our nation, without at any point coming across as being arrogant or anything else. You know what I mean :-)

Hope to catch you Sunday morning, or evening, or both!

Simon.

How fantastic Simon - At this time, as London launches their so-called Atheist message, you have the wonderful opportunity to declare that God is alive and working in our churches especially here in the Bracknell and surrounding areas. You have been chosen for a time such as this and you are the right person to reach out to our community through this channel. Sorry we won't hear it because we'll be at the service!

And watch out for the elephants!

Well done Simon, it is no coincidence that this opportunity came as we not only launch 3 mtgs, but also a new sermon series. You will be fab, you have a genuine, open honesty that comes through when you speak

Plus it was so great today seeing everything come together for Sunday, so many people doing so many unseen things, and everyone with a buzz of excitement.

3 meetings on Sunday - Bring it on!!!
