Social Justice Freshers' Fair on Monday

Those of you who were around before Christmas may have heard Andy Jackson speak on "Social Justice is for life, not just for Christmas". Part of his challenge was to invite anyone interested in getting involved in one of our social justice ministries to a Freshers’ Fair which is at 7pm on Monday 12th January in the Kerith Centre.

This is a chance to find out about some of the exciting volunteer opportunities within the Social Justice team. Representatives from each ministry would love to talk to you about how you can help. There is a role for everyone; training as a mentor for ex-offenders, leading conversation classes for people looking to learn English, training as a behaviour coach for kids at risk of exclusion, befriending a CAP client, helping with some of the admin in the office, taking a client for a food shop and much more.

The whole team would love to see you there, and coming along doesn't oblige you to sign up for anything!

Simon.
