Serenje Dormitory almost finished

I was very excited on Friday to get an email from Anne Mumbi, our Tearfund contact in Zambia, with an update on the girls dormitory. This is what she had to say:

------

Good morning!

I am so excited to let you know that the dormitory is almost done. I have attached a few pictures for you before final coating of painting that is happening this week.

The Matron, Mrs Theresa Mulenga, has been employed and has begun an engagement with the Schools (Boma, Ibolelo, Kambobe, Malwita and Miselo Kapika) to help develop a data base of the vulnerable girls coming from long distant places and currently renting spaces in Serenje. This will also help us develop a selection criteria.

Will send a detailed update of my recent trip.

Blessings!

Anne Vondo Mumbi (Mrs)

------

Let's be praying for these final stages of building and fitting out the dormitory, and for the selection process as the vulnerable girls to live in the dormitory are chosen.

For everyone who gave to the dormitory project please know that you are seeing some of the fruit of your generosity, a fruit which you'll only really get to measure in eternity where you'll get to meet the multitude of people whose lives were changed as a result of your giving. A great investment!

Simon.
