Sunday - Leon Johnson, Brian Heasley and me

On Sunday morning we're looking at the fourth of the seven signs, or miracles, recorded in John's gospel - Jesus feeding the five thousand. I'd encourage you to find the time to read the passage in advance, along with the later passage where Jesus talks about being the 'bread of life' pointing us at what the sign tells us about Jesus. Leon Johnson will be preaching in Bracknell at the 9am and 11am, and I'll be preaching in Sandhurst at the 10am.

On Sunday evening we'll be continuing our prayer meetings which are part of our February month of prayer. They've been very different to how we've traditionally done prayer meetings, flowing in and out of worship and prayer with lots of opportunity to pray for one another, but I for one have really enjoyed and appreciated them.

This week we've got Brian Heasley, national director of 24-7 prayer in the UK, leading us in prayer. Brian has been with us once before and we had a brilliant time with him - I'm sure we're in for more of the same. He has an incredible depth to him, having lead 24-7 prayer not only in the UK but also in Ibiza. Take a look at this video if you want to get a bit more of a flavour of who Brian is and what he's about.

Hope to catch you on Sunday if not before,

Simon.
