On Sunday morning we're looking at the fifth sign in John's gospel, Jesus walking on water and calming the storm. Why not take a moment now to read the story below and get yourself familiar with it before Sunday.
“When evening came, his disciples went down to the lake, where they got into a boat and set off across the lake for Capernaum. By now it was dark, and Jesus had not yet joined them. A strong wind was blowing and the waters grew rough. When they had rowed about three or four miles, they saw Jesus approaching the boat, walking on the water; and they were frightened. But he said to them, ‘It is I; don’t be afraid.’ Then they were willing to take him into the boat, and immediately the boat reached the shore where they were heading.”
We'll also be having thanksgivings for children in all three morning meetings, so come ready to celebrate with all the families involved.
In the evening we've got time for prayer and worship in Bracknell, Sandhurst and Windsor. This will be the first time we've gathered together people who might be interested in what we're planning to do in the Windsor / Maidenhead area which is very exciting. All three meetings will start at 6pm with drinks before (there's even the promise of cake in Windsor!). The Bracknell meeting will be in the Kerith Centre. Sandhurst will meet in the library at Sandhurst School. In Windsor we're meeting at Windsor Hall, Ruddles Way, Dedworth, Windsor SL4 5SJ. Please do whatever you can to be at one of these gatherings, ready to meet with God and with one another.
Hope to see you on Sunday,
