Serenje Sunday

On Sunday I'm going to talk in some detail about my trip last week to Serenje, as well looking at how it fits in with our wider call to be a blessing to the nations.

Amazing progress has been made since we first visited Serenje five years ago, and I can't wait to get to talk about it all.

As a bit of a taster I thought I'd include a couple of pictures from Misela Kapika Basic (Primary) School. This first one is of some of the new classrooms which have been built using the extra school fees the school has received from children being sponsored by the project (the eagle eyed will also spot Leah Mutala).

And these are some of the children now being taught in those new rooms (along with the lovely Hannah Fairs-Billam).

All very exciting. We'll also be having gift days over the next two weekends trying to raise £80,000 to fund the final year of the project. My prayer is that we'll raise so significantly more than the target, in which case any extra money will go to other nations we are involved in.

Please get there on Sunday if you possibly can, and be thinking and praying about what you are going to give.
